When I was a little girl, my Dad taught me to "swim" at Pine Island Lake. His technique for my brothers, sister and I included holding us under our bellies and telling us to "swim for the cookie". Apparently we were highly food motivated and all learned to at least swim to save our lives (and get the cookie). I am swimming in this fundraiser in my Dad's memory to ensure all little children can learn the life long skill of swimming. They can learn in a safe pool, taught by certified instructors. Please help us raise funds to ensure kids are safe in the pool for years to come! #swimforthecookie
