Giving Tuesday 2024

We are participating in Giving Tuesday, the annual celebration of generosity, and we're calling on you to show kindness and compassion to animals in need.

When you give to HSCC, you give hope to homeless pets with nowhere else to go. HSCC is a critical safety net for the most vulnerable in our community: so far this year, we have taken in over 1,100 animals – each with their own story, personality, and challenges to overcome.

On average, every animal that comes through our doors costs our shelter approximately $1,000. Adoptions fees cover a small portion of that cost, but we rely on the kindness of our generous donors to make ends meet and keep our doors open to animals in need.
