The Hey There Beautiful Dream Camp is that place — a sanctuary built to empower the next generation of girls to dream without limits. With your help, we will raise $250,000 by February 3, 2026, to build our cabins, furnish the camp, and create a permanent home for healing, joy, and growth.

🌿 Who We Are

The Hey There Beautiful Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in Brooklyn, New York, in 2015 by Dailisha Eve Rodriguez, a Latina leader and social-impact visionary who turned personal pain into purpose.

Our mission is simple yet powerful:

To create safe spaces for women and girls to dream, heal, and lead empowered lives through education, social-emotional learning, and personal development.

Over the past decade, we’ve partnered with the NYC Department of Education, United Federation of Teachers, Department of Youth & Community Development, Avon, and the American Cancer Society, serving more than 5,000 women and girls across New York, Mexico, and beyond.

We’ve hosted retreats, summits, and school programs that rebuild confidence, emotional intelligence, and leadership from the inside out.

Now, we’re building something permanent — a home for this movement to grow.

🌈 Why the Dream Camp and Why Now

Girls are growing up in a world that tests their confidence and self-worth like never before. The numbers are staggering — and they tell us that our work can’t wait another year.

According to the CDC (2023), nearly 40% of U.S. high school students reported persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness — a heartbreaking sign of the emotional crisis facing our youth.
According to the CDC (2023), one in five teens seriously considered suicide last year — showing the urgent need for safe, healing spaces like Dream Camp.
According to the National Center for Health Statistics (2022), only 58.5% of adolescents said they “always or usually” receive the social and emotional support they need — leaving millions of girls feeling unseen.
According to the American Psychological Association (2025), only 52% of adolescent girls report consistent emotional support, compared to nearly 65% of boys — revealing a deep gender gap in resilience.
According to BMC Women’s Health (2022), adolescent girls are twice as likely as boys to report symptoms of depression by mid-adolescence — and those rates continue to rise worldwide.

Dream Camp exists to change these numbers. It will be a sanctuary for girls to rebuild their sense of self through:

Leadership and wellness workshops
Confidence and self-expression activities
Mentorship and sisterhood circles
Access to nature, mindfulness, and healing

This is more than a camp — it’s a lifeline, a legacy, and a movement.

💫 How Funds Will Be Used

Every dollar raised will directly fund the construction, furnishing, and programming of the Dream Camp in Ava, New York.
