So how did the BS club begin?

While yes, Parkinson's Disease is truly BS! But no, that is not the BS we are talking about.

Brian Stephenson is our inspiration. In fact, the whole Stephenson family is the fuel to our fire. Brian was first diagnosed with PD in 2012 and needless to say he has gone through hell and back and weathered highs and lows. Yet somehow he has not only handled it with tenacity and grace, but has turned around and worked tirelessly to raise money for the Michael J. Fox Foundation via Danville d' Elegance events. Fundraising for not only Parkinson's, but many charities, is a Stephenson family affair - including Hannah's Cakes For A Cure (YUM!). Brian, Cadi and their children, Sam and Hannah, are true Champions for the cause to find a cure for PD. In short - BS is our friend and a hero!

One thing you should know about Brian is he loves all things sports. So when we approached him about putting together a golf tournament to raise funds for Parkinson's, of course the whole family jumped right in. So the BS Golf Club - Playin' Fore Parkinson's Golf Tourney has become a reality. We hope you can join us for a great day raising money for the Stephenson's favorite charity, The Michael J. Fox Foundation.

With that, The B.S. Club was formed! A charity golf event to support the fight against Parkinson’s. We truly look to make this a memorable event and one our “B.S. Club Members” will certainly enjoy!

Five million people worldwide are living with Parkinson's disease -- a chronic, degenerative neurological disorder. In the United States, 60,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year alone. There is no known cure for Parkinson's disease. The B.S. Club is fundraising for Team Fox through the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
