Help us invest in our future and provide for the arrival of three new species to the Cape May County Park & Zoo!

Your generous support will go directly towards the construction and habitat creation for Red Kangaroos, Emus and Toco Toucans.

Located in the Zoo’s former Muntjac exhibit, adjacent to the Wallaby exhibit, plans are in the works for a 12,000 square foot area to feature five Red Kangaroos and 2 Emus. The exhibit will include new exhibit fencing for easy viewing of the animals and 500 square feet of heated indoor living space.

The Zoo is also planning for a second phase of construction to welcome Toco Toucans. The construction will include a 450 square foot space with 6,500 cubic feet of open area for the Toucans to fly around, plus an inside 200 square feet of floor space and 2,000 cubic feet for flight. The habitat will match the look of the existing South American habitats in this area, measuring 16 feet high and include a variety of branches perches and ropes, and three connected areas inside so the Toucans can be shifted between each area, or have the option to utilize the entire space.
