$10 A Month HAND UP for GOOD!

In September of 2023 Blessing Bags of Warmth started a new program, HandUp, which assisted more than twenty families towards independence and stability.

We further assisted more than 50 other families and individuals with one-time emergency HandUps.

We were only able to do this beause of the generosity of donors!

This year we have a goal of offering a HandUp to at least 10 new families every month.

Many of the requests are emergency needs like past due utility bills set for disconnection or already disconnected, assistance with rent or other shelter related costs, as well as basic necessities like food, medicine and transportation.

The average HandUp is less than $300, but has been found to be life changing in most cases. 

We hope that by gaining new monthly donors, giving just $10 or more a month, it will help us have funds readily available to offer these emergency HandUps – one person, one family at a time.
