There are medications and interventions out there that can improve Fia’s quality of life. Most of what is standing in our way is lack of funding for the research that needs to be done to convince the FDA that these medications and interventions are safe, effective, and necessary. As disappointing as our clinical trial journey has been so far, there is a part of me that still has hope for something for Fia in the future.
