Have a Heart. Share the Love.

February is American Heart Month, and at In Flight, we’re inviting our community to Have a Heart and Share the Love by helping us raise $500 to support healthy hearts for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Many individuals with I/DD face unique challenges when it comes to heart health. Difficulty verbalizing symptoms, anxiety around hospitals, and long or overwhelming medical visits can delay diagnosis and treatment. Bringing care closer to home can make all the difference.

Contributions to Share the Love will support In Flight, Inc.’s nursing department in purchasing on-site diagnostic equipment such as EKG machines and mobile vital monitors, obtaining phlebotomy certifications, and installing AEDs across our programs. This equipment allows for early identification of symptoms and ongoing monitoring in a familiar, comfortable environment, reducing stress and improving outcomes.

Your support helps us protect hearts, promote safety, and provide compassionate care where it’s needed most.

About In Flight, Inc.

In Flight, Inc. was founded in 1993 as a Medicaid service coordination agency. Since opening, In Flight has grown to offer multiple programs serving individuals with intellectual disabilities

Our Residential program promotes skills for living independently and our Day-Habilitation, Community Habilitation, ISAIL, and SEMP programs teach new skills in communication, socialization, volunteerism, and employment. Through the years we continued to grow with the acquisition of SNP and Eagle Case Management, bringing our support base to over 400 individuals.

To further strengthen our community ties, in 2017 we partnered with Hudson Valley Service Providers. As a founding member of, and an equity partner in HVSP, In Flight, Inc. participated in the start-up and launch of LifePlan CCO, LLC, responding to a New York State initiative to promote conflict-free Medicaid service and coordination.

Offering services in Ulster, Columbia, Greene, and Dutchess counties, where we prioritize putting the people we support first through person-centered planning.
