This past August, Za’Morrie, a Pittsburgh Public School senior, experienced his first flight, traveling with The Hear Foundation to the NOBLE Conference in New Orleans. There, he gained valuable insights into community policing, met law enforcement leaders, and took a step closer to his dream of serving Pittsburgh as an officer. Programs like Bridging the Badge pave pathways for students in underserved communities, providing them with mentorship, training, and connections that inspire them to protect and uplift the neighborhoods they call home.
