50 to 5000: Heath's Trans-Virginia Birthday Ride for THRIVE

As Heath's 50th birthday approaches, he's found a unique way to give back to the community. To support THRIVE Peninsula's mission of preventing hunger and homelessness, Heath is embarking on an epic bicycle journey from the Kentucky-Virginia state line to the TransAmerica route finish in Yorktown. His ambitious goal is to raise 500 pounds of food and $5,000 for THRIVE.

THRIVE Peninsula is a volunteer driven, prevention-focused, non-profit that has helped stabilize Peninsula residents for the last 50 years. Our trifecta approach to services helps families maintain stability during financial crises by preventing hunger, maintaining housing, and extending education and tools. We offer a range of services to address immediate needs and provide long-term solutions.

Eligibility: Open to Virginia residents 18+. Employees, board members, and immediate family of THRIVE Peninsula are ineligible.

Entry: Tickets: $25 each or 5 for $100. Available online at https://givebutter.com/HeathsRide4THRIVE 100% of proceeds donated to THRIVE Peninsula (www.thrivepeninsula.org) - EIN number is 54-1857664

Complete contact info required. Entries due by 11:59 P.M. September 20, 2024. Drawing: Held at the event on September 22, 2024 or by October 1st, 2024 if event changes. Winner randomly selected from all entries. Need not be present to win. Winner notified via provided contact info. Notification: Winner notified using contact information provided within 24hrs. Must respond within 2 days or a new winner is chosen.

Prize: Priority 600 Bicycle (Valued at ~$2,399) Winner selects size that fits them best. Non-transferable, no substitutions. Taxes: Winner responsible for taxes, fees.
