We are in a financial crisis and at this time we must put the cats we currently have first and do a case by case basis for intake. Listed here are our current outstanding vet balances:

UW Vet: $2,112.65

Precision Veterinary: $1,743.41 (Not including our bills from todays 4 spay/neuter appts)

VCA: $641.47

Poynette Veterinary Care: Unknown, Mabel is currently admitted there as an emergency.

The total for the 3 statements is $4,497.53. We are constantly called for help, sometimes we are that cats ONLY option, so of course we will help but right now we are the ones who need help. We have had several medical case related vet appointments in the last month, some expected- Samson, Goliath, Chase, others unexpected, like 30 cats from an overpopulation situation who all but 6 needed medical care beyond the basics (spay/vaccines/etc.) either at an emergency clinic or our local vet. What should’ve cost us roughly $3,500 for vetting has already cost us over $6,500. Kitten season is coming, how can we help the pregnant feral with no funds for future vetting? How do we help any more cats when we have over 150 cats in our program who could need emergency vetting at any time?

We are not asking to give more than you can but we need help. We were supposed to be raising funds for the new floor in the sanctuary this week but unfortunately that needs to be on hold as we need to get our vet bills paid for first. We have always prided ourselves on paying our bills quickly to avoid ever going into continued personal debt, but when unexpected emergencies arise on top of already expected bills, it can get very overwhelming very fast.
