The Karimojong children living in the slums of Kampala are often trafficked and/or abducted for child sacrifice. Sacrifices are performed at the request of business men who seek to increase their wealth or change their luck. The little girl in the picture was released by her abductors because her ears were pierced. Only children who are considered "pure" are sacrificed.

Please help us PREVENT the vulnerable children of the Karimojong tribe from being sacrificed. The Nachan Project Team will be implementing a Community Outreach Program and providing free ear piercings to any child with the consent of their mothers.

This intervention is both culturally appropriate and acceptable and will be delivered hygienically through the use of sterile equipment to prevent infectious disease transmission.

Our lifesaving mission will be provided to 1,500 children if we receive the resources! Our aim is to expand this even further into other slums in Uganda.
