Sawyer's Wish - Helping Hands Program

At Sawyer’s Wish™, we believe comfort, play, and normalcy are essential parts of a child’s healing journey. The Helping Hands Program was created to support Child Life departments, the dedicated professionals who help children and families cope with the stress of hospitalization.

Through Helping Hands, Sawyer’s Wish helps ease the financial strain Child Life teams often face when trying to provide everyday items that bring comfort, distraction, and joy to young patients. Donations to this program allow us to purchase and supply essential, high-need items that may not be covered by hospital budgets but make a meaningful difference in a child’s hospital experience.

By donating, you allow us at Sawyer's Wish to purchase items such as new toys, books, games, and clothing, we help Child Life specialists create a more nurturing, supportive environment—one where children can play, feel comforted, and simply be kids, even during long or difficult hospital stays.

How Your Donation Helps

Your generosity directly supports Child Life staff by funding the purchase of new, clean, and hospital-approved items for children and families in need. Every donation helps fill an immediate need and brings comfort to a child during a challenging time.
