Hersey Choir Giving Tuesday

Today, November 29th, is National "Giving Tuesday". Please consider donating to the Hersey Choir to help the program continue to flourish. Your donation will go towards arrangements, scholarships, costumes, accompanists, festivals, workshops and many other items that lead to a well-rounded vocal experience for all Hersey Students. With your support, we can continue to insure access and student participation in an excellent program. CAP+S (Hersey Choral Association of Parents and Students) is the booster organization to support the Choral programs at John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights. In addition to our general operations, CAP+S collects funds to support the foundation of our organization to sustain the choral education and support of our program year after year.

Each school year upwards of 12-15 different vocal groups are formed and perform in various capacities sharing their vocal gifts. This booster group supports the programs with their volunteer time and financial support. Donations to the group help offset the costs of producing events, purchasing music and choreography, providing scholarships for vocal lessons and choral fees.

The donations provided on this platform are a charitable donation due to the 501(c)3 status of our CAP+S Organization. Our organization will accept matching donations from employers as well. Your support will help strengthen our program and outreach for our students as well as the local community.
