In 2011, we met as young staff members at Higher Achievement, not knowing that 14 years later we would be married with two kids…it’s been quite the ride! For five decades, Higher Achievement has been dedicated to providing middle school students with the academic and social support they need to reach their full potential. With rigorous mentoring, engaging enrichment programs, and a strong emphasis on college readiness, the organization has transformed countless lives—including ours.

This year, Higher Achievement is celebrating its 50th anniversary—a milestone that speaks to its enduring impact on generations of students. We know firsthand how essential this organization is for young people who might not otherwise have access to all of the amazing opportunities Higher Achievement provides.
