Little Schoolhouse in the Woods works hard to provide quality nature-based experiences for early childhood, but our program costs don’t cover all of our expenses. We appreciate your support to continue our dream of providing nature based education for children! Whether you give a little or a lot, you’ll be supporting the love of nature and happy childhoods!

Help us reach our fundraising goal of $3,000 for educational supplies, school improvement materials, and community events that connect neighbors with nature and each other.  Your pledge will support our students in a daily hike from May 5-9, culminating in a hike at the Little Schoolhouse in the Woods (2628 Montana Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45211) on Saturday May 10 at 10:00am which will be open to the community to join us.

The Little Schoolhouse is a nonprofit nature preschool in Mt. Airy Forest, and our mission is  to foster a love of nature and to guide children toward healthy relationships with themselves and others. Children spend most of their time outdoors engaged in free-play, as they develop social-emotional skills and expand their early understandings of literacy and numeracy via nature.
