On January 5th, somewhere between 5:51-6:20 pm, Hollie Masino, a beloved ER nurse in the Debriefing the Front Lines commUNITY was the victim of a horrific hit-and-run accident on Weber Boulevard in Collier County, Florida. While riding her bike, Hollie was struck by a vehicle and left for dead on the side of the road.

Thanks to the courageous bystanders who found her and called 911, Hollie was airlifted to the trauma center and underwent emergency surgery to relieve intracranial swelling and is currently in the ICU. Although she has made it through the initial surgery, she faces a long and uncertain road to recovery, with extensive medical treatments, therapy, and potential long-term effects from her injuries—all while navigating this challenge without medical insurance.

Hollie was between travel nursing contracts when the accident occurred. Over the past 17+ years, Hollie has dedicated her life to caring for others in their most vulnerable moments, moments just like this.

The driver responsible for this heartbreaking incident has been arrested and is facing justice, but Hollie's battle has just begun. Her family—Carol, Leonard, Eric, and Nick—are reeling from this unimaginable situation, trying to provide the love and support Hollie needs while grappling with the emotional and financial strain this tragedy has brought.

100% of all funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward:

- Hollie’s medical bills and ongoing treatments.

- Rehabilitation and therapy to help her regain her strength and independence.

Debriefing the Front Lines is covering the 3% processing/platform fee to ensure that 100% of all funds donated go directly to Hollie.
