We’ve Got Your Back and Hometown Pediatrics are partnering again for the 4th annual Operation Back to School fundraiser to help Limestone County children currently in DHR custody. This fundraiser is specifically aimed at buying these children back to school clothing. There are currently 109 children from Limestone County in DHR custody that will start school in August. Our Goal is to provide each of the children starting school this year with a $200 voucher to purchase shirts, pants, shoes and a jacket. Many of these children will not be able to have new back to school clothing without this assistance. We are asking for business and/or personal tax-deductible donations to reach our goal of $21,800. Each donation of $200 or more will receive special recognition with your company logo (if you so choose) on Hometown Pediatrics’ Facebook page. Checks can be made payable to We’ve Got Your Back (Memo: Back to School-Limestone Co.) and dropped off in person or mailed to ATTN: We’ve Got Your Back, Hometown Pediatrics, 22136 Medical Village Drive Athens, Al 35613. All fundraising progress will be shared on our Facebook pages. When funds are disbursed at the end of our fundraiser, we will publish all donations (named or anonymous), the total amount raised, any gift card purchase fees and the total amount disbursed.
