I've had many coaches over the years. Each one has helped me in different ways. My most influential coaches were/are my high school coach, Coach Acuna, and my current coaches, Coach JGar and Coach James. 

Coach Acuna is the reason that I fell in love with running. He taught me how to push myself, set goals, and have fun. He believed in me and cared about my success on and off the track. 

Coach JGar and Coach James have been my coaches, intermittently, over the last 2 years. They've encouraged me to put mental health and family first. And, most importantly, they've never given up on me, even when my consistency is lacking. They've reminded me how to prioritize the things I love and how to have fun doing it. 

I wouldn't be who I am today without any of my coaches, but especially not without these three.
