We are excited to introduce the Hoofprints for Hope Scholarship Fund, an initiative to support foster and adopted children who are experiencing the effects of developmental trauma. Our goal is to provide these children with 10 weeks of individual equine-assisted psychotherapy, a therapeutic approach that uses the healing power of horses to promote emotional well-being and personal growth.

Why Equine Therapy?

Equine-assisted psychotherapy has been shown to help children build confidence, manage their emotions, and heal from trauma. Horses, with their sensitive nature, offer a unique form of therapy that traditional methods often cannot provide. For foster and adopted children, who may struggle with feelings of abandonment, trust issues, and emotional wounds from their past, this therapy can offer hope and a path to healing.

Our Goal

Our goal is to award individual scholarships to foster and adopted children in Palm Beach and Broward County, Florida. Each scholarship will enable a child to receive comprehensive equine therapy, guiding them towards a brighter, healthier future. Foster and adoptive parents will submit essays to Healing Kids' Hearts, and recipients will be chosen based on these submissions.

To make this vision a reality, we need your support. For each scholarship we give away we will need to raise $1,500 to $2,000 to cover the cost of 10 weeks of therapy sessions. Your generous donations will directly impact the lives of these children, offering them a chance to heal and thrive.
