When Makayla and Derrick came to Hope, they were new to Central Texas, without a car or steady work, and about to become parents for the first time. “I don’t know what I’m doing,” Makayla remembers thinking.

Long before they walked through our doors, someone had already given a gift that was waiting for them. That gift paid for the nurse who let them hear their son’s heartbeat, the Client Advocate who walked with Makayla every step of the way, and the fatherhood coach who helped Derrick get ready to lead his family. This Christmas, they’ll celebrate their first holiday as a family of three.

A gift to Hope is never opened just once. It’s opened again with every visit, every class, and every family who walks through our doors across Bell and Coryell Counties.

Give today, and your gift will be ready for the next family who needs Hope.
