Our Education Story

From school fees to uniforms, books to all the compulsory side requirements like brooms, reams of paper, mattresses and bags of beans... even the average parent struggles to raise funds to educate their children.

And then there are children without parents, which is where we come in. Ours is a story of hope, miracles and love that has spanned 11 year now. Because of the kindness of supporters like you, we have put 400+ girls through school - and counting! They continuously make us very proud.

We have 5 university graduates! And all of them are now a strong part of our support system. More...
2 of our children graduated from vocational training institutes. Susan is a welder, and Saudah is a seamstress. More...
Today, 215 Grace Villa children are enrolled in schools all across Uganda and beyond. More...
In 2023, one of our children got a perfect score of 4 aggregates in her Primary Leaving Exam (PLE) exams! More...
And ALL our children but 1 got a strong 1st grade.
Our children are growing into givers themselves - positively impacting us, their own families and their communities. More...

The children raise 30% of their own school fees! Through sales from our Tailoring, Baking, Dance, and Agriculture, as well as fees scholarships and waivers for academic excellence. The rest of it is raised through the generosity of kind people like you reading this today. 🍃
