We’re celebrating 5 years of Meaningful Movement Physical Therapy — and we’re marking the milestone by giving back to the community that moves with us!

This August, we’re hosting a week of donation-based movement classes and a special celebration on Saturday, August 9th, featuring a mini movement workout, coffee cart + bites, and clinic open house. 100% of funds raised will go directly to three amazing local nonprofits that align with our mission of promoting wellness, inclusion, and empowerment through movement.

💛 Who You’re Supporting:

Care Ring – Physicians Reach Out Program

Care Ring is a nonprofit dedicated to providing access to preventive health services for uninsured and underinsured residents of Mecklenburg County. Through the Physicians Reach Out program, they connect patients in need with volunteer physicians, dentists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Why we chose them: At the heart of healing is access. Care Ring ensures that everyone — regardless of financial status — has the chance to receive essential healthcare. An initial driver of founding Meaningful Movement was financial accessibility to healthcare, we have served as a Physician's Reach Out Provider since 2022.

CLT Foundation

This Charlotte-based nonprofit supports children and young adults (21 and under) facing life-altering medical challenges — from cancer and paralysis to autism and rare diagnoses. Through programs like college scholarships, summer camps, mentoring, home modifications, and more, they help kids and families thrive beyond their diagnosis.

Why we chose them: Camp CLT is one of the many ways Changing Lives Together (CLT) Foundation lives out their mission. Our first experience volunteering with Camp CLT was in 2021 and it was life changing, this camp redefines what’s possible through inclusive, adaptive movement — a vision we deeply share.

Let Me Run

A nonprofit that uses running to inspire boys to be themselves, build healthy relationships, and live active lifestyles. Their curriculum combines physical activity with lessons that foster emotional expression and leadership.

Why we chose them: We believe movement is a tool for building confidence and community at every age. Crystal had the privilege of coaching her son’s Let Me Run team last year and saw firsthand this organization doing just that with young boys across Charlotte and beyond.
