Trick-or-Trails 2024

On Sunday, October 27th, Roots and Wings Forest School will host a fun family Halloween event with our very own nature twist at Blacks Grove Park in Wadena. This community event will be offered FREE of charge, ensuring that families from all backgrounds can unite to create joyful and lasting memories. Families who join us for Trick-or-Trails will enjoy an exciting hike around Blacks Grove, all while dressed in their favorite costumes! Children of all ages will find treats and treasures along the trail. After the Halloween hike, families can stick around to enjoy refreshments, games, and a campfire at the park shelter. We are working hard to make this a great community event, and would love your support to enhance the experience and bring more families out for a fantastic day of Halloween fun.

To make this happen, we are seeking sponsors to help cover essential costs such as refreshments, event supplies, treat bags, station activities, and more. We are also looking for businesses willing to set up a spot along the trail with treats for our hikers! Your support would be invaluable in expanding the event so more families can join in the fun and create lasting memories. By sponsoring our event, your business will help us provide an exceptional experience for all participants, demonstrating your commitment to building community and fostering family togetherness in the great outdoors. Trick-or-Trailblazer Sponsor | $500 Become a Trick-or-Treat Trailblazer Sponsor and support the hiking trail portion of the event. Your company’s logo will be displayed prominently at the event, and you will be acknowledged on our website and social media. This sponsorship helps provide a healthy, enjoyable experience for all participants.

Boo Buddy Sponsor | $250 Become a Boo Buddy Sponsor and help cover the costs of participant refreshments, including healthy treats and beverages. Your logo will be displayed at the refreshment table and acknowledged on our website and social media.

Fall family fun Sponsor | $100 A Fall family fun Sponsor will support a variety of games and activities for families to enjoy after their hike, making for a day of festive celebration. Your logo will be displayed at the shelter, and you'll be acknowledged on our website and social media.

Treat-on-the-Trail Participant | FREE (select mail check to avoid $1 charge) Set up a station along the trail with treats or treasures for our trick-or-treaters! Groups are responsible for setting up their own station along the trail between 12-1:30pm on the day of the event. You may feature your logo and business/group information at your trail station. Trail clean up will be from 4-5pm. If you would like to participate but are unable to set up your station, please reach out!
