Everyone deserves a chance to live to their full potential. That's not always easy with disabled adults with autism, cereal palsy, down syndrome, etc., because we don't always know exactly what they can do. Some organizations do everything they can to find out. For example, Marbridge Ranch in Manchaca, TX founded in 1953 by two parents who were concerned about the future of their son, Jim. "The first established community, The Ranch, offered training based on the philosophy that adults with developmental disabilities can learn skills that enable them to become contributing members of the community." Joining the Pieces Foundation agrees with this philosophy. We have had the pleasure of awarding Marbridge Ranch with two grants.

29 Acres in Crossroads, TX, Converty Reserve in Wylie,TX, and Hugs Cafe in McKinney, TX are other receipents. We are looking to grow that list in Texas then the nation. It takes a village to raise a child, but for special needs that grown child needs the love and support of a village for a lot longer. Would you be part of the dream?
