We are a passionate group of teens from Congregation Ner Tamid in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA working together to make the world a better place. We are a teen philanthropy program who meet monthly and are guided by the Jewish values to make philanthropic decisions.

We are aiming to apply our Jewish values to a cause that impacts us and our community. After much debate and discussion, we selected the cause of combating antisemitism. As teenagers, we have seen an increase in antisemitism at school, on the news, on social media and in Israel.

In this complicated time, we believe that as Jewish teenagers guided by the value of areyvut (responsibility), we have to do our part to combat antisemitism. As a teen philanthropy board, we are united in building a world that treats all people with respect and understanding that we are all created B’tzelem Elohim, in the image of God.
