Many boomers remember getting school supplies at Rogers or stopping by the Amvets Post, once housed in a 3-story Romanesque Revival structure where The Farmers State Bank and Trust Company drive-thru is today. What is there now is actually the second iteration of the bank’s drive-up facility styled to match the Neo-Classical main bank style, the first being a 2-story Modern style building with offices over the lanes which was replaced in the 1990s.
