We are excited to announce the launch of the Iconic Nurse Network Outreach, a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing community resources and improving the well-being of residents in Rockford, IL, and surrounding areas. Our mission is to empower communities through access to essential services and education, focusing on food security, nutrition, employment, healthcare, and financial literacy.

Our Role

We are a team of health workers living in the communities we serve. Our team is crafted with nursing professionals, CHWs, financial advisors and a social worker. We act as a vital link between health, social services and the community, ensuring improved access to services and culturally competent care.

Purpose: We will work to enhance community resources in food security, financial literacy, employment, healthcare access, and nutritional education.

1. Food Security Initiatives:
   1. Collaborating with local food banks and community gardens to ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
   2. Providing educational workshops on nutrition and healthy eating.
2. Employment Support:
   1. Partnering with local businesses and job training programs to offer employment opportunities and career development workshops.
3. Healthcare Access:
   1. Facilitating connections with healthcare providers and offering resources to ensure everyone has access to necessary medical care.
   2. Conducting health screenings and preventive care workshops.

   1. Hosting classes and seminars on the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
