Skye Gia is a Rockford born native who began her career as a community organizer in 2016. Since then she has continued to advocate for the liberation of all oppressed people.

Organizing and coordinating events, resources, and programs that uplift poverty stricken community members.

Skye Gia is an AfroLatinX Trans person who continues to rise in the face of unfortunate circumstances that are out of her control. Examples - Discrimination, racism, and transphobia.

This has led to Skye Gia facing housing and employment insecurity.

Once the funds have been raised Skye Gia will be able to afford the rent by working two separate part time jobs.
