When we run the streets of the IE, we run on streets built on the backs of immigrant labor. When we fuel our bodies after the run, we eat food cooked and innovated by our immigrant neighbors. And when anyone under our community is under attack, we must always stand up and fight back 💪

Rrunnrs, Riverside Craft Runners, and Slow Bloom Coffee are honored to build on the momentum initiated by Bianca Delgado at Transcend Health Club to host what we hope will be the second of many IE-based Runs for Immigrant Justice. Join us on September 21st at 7:30am at Slow Bloom Coffee in Redlands for a 5k Run/Walk fundraiser for Inland Empire Youth Immigrant Collective -- an organization who has been mobilizing immigrant youth to fight the good fight against ICE's recent attacks on our communities.

The 5k (3 mile) run/walk will be inclusive of all paces, and all people who are looking to build and support their communities during these difficult times. There will also be an option for a shorter, kid-friend mile walk/run 🐣. While we are asking a suggested donation of $25 or more, any amount you can share is welcomed. If you are not in a position to donate right now, we would be thrilled to have you be in community with us anyway.

In addition to the run, we will have several local immigrant justice organizations tabling with vital know-your-rights information and other resources. We will also kick off the 5k with a beautiful/inspiring/ mobilizing reading from IE poet/ activist Peter Lechuga.

The number of tickets you will receive corresponds to the size of your donation:

We will also be selling additional tickets the day of the event . Each ticket will cost $5, or 2 for $9, 3 for $12, 4 for $15 and you can pay with cash or Venmo :)
