This special reception will celebrate 25 years of the Illinois Equal Justice Foundation. We will present the Champion of Justice Award to Senior Vice President and Global General Counsel Dorothy Capers, an IEJF Board alumna. We will also recognize Illinois Senator Elgie R. Simms, Jr. and Illinois Representative Jehan Gordon-Booth, Speaker Pro Tempore and Chief Budgeteer, for their advocacy on behalf of all Illinoisans' access to civil legal aid. The Celebration will also feature a meaningful spotlight on Leslie Corbett's, IEJF's Executive Director, 20 years of leadership. The reception includes drinks and appetizers.
