Since 2002, Nutmeg Acres Wildlife Rehabilitation has provided care, hope, and a second chance to injured and orphaned wildlife in Connecticut. From tiny opossum joeys to majestic birds of prey, your support helps them rescue, triage, rehabilitate, and release animals back into the wild.

We see the difference that community support can make every single day. Thanks to you, we've been able to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide second chances to so many injured and orphaned animals in need - over 400 in 2024.

This year, we’re asking for your help once again. Your generous donations allow us to buy critical supplies, improve habitats, add medical equipment, and expand our care facilities. Every contribution directly helps animals like this tiny joey who unexpectedly arrived in our care this fall, giving them a safe place to grow and thrive.

Every dollar makes a difference:

$25 feeds a baby opossum for a week.

$50 provides medication for an injured patient.

$100 brings us closer to building a bat flight enclosure.
