The Indiana Health Care Foundation (IHCF), a statewide nonprofit organization founded in 1997 that furthers knowledge, education, information, and understanding in the areas of health care, wellness, and services to the aged and chronically ill. As part of our mission we provide scholarships and workforce development programming to professionals who dedicate their careers to caring for seniors and the disabled in a variety of long term care settings.

Indiana, like many parts of the country, is facing a critical shortage of health care professionals at a time when the state’s baby boomer population is rapidly approaching an age in which they will require long term care.

In an effort to curb this shortage and increase the number of well-trained health care professionals able to provide exceptional care to the growing elderly population, IHCF works each year to increase our funding for scholarships for these professionals.

Your support of this year's silent auction ensures we can continue to provide scholarship resources and workforce development programming of Indiana's long term care employees, allowing them to improve the quality of care residents at Indiana skilled nursing and assisted living facilities receive.
