With your help, IHN provides a safe and supportive environment for families who are experiencing homelessness to regain self-sufficiency.  Families have access to programs such as financial literacy, job and skills training, as well as housing advocacy. We ensure attention is paid to their medical and emotional needs, childcare and transportation issues, among others. Each family addresses their own specific needs, resulting in personal successes and self-reliance.

Not only are our families solving their issues of homelessness, but many have moved into neighborhoods close to the shelter, now becoming members of the community that gives back. We’ve been honored to have two Advisory Board members that were previously guests at the shelter. IHN staff and volunteers are able to do this work thanks to the goodwill of you, our donors. Your contribution makes it possible for us to continue offering a temporary home to families in crisis.
