Any contribution, large or small, helps us to tackle our major elevator modernization project AND the day-to-day challenges of providing all the supports listed here to our residents.

Updates on the Elevator Modernization: We replaced our controller in the Winter of 2023, which cost over $50,000. In the Fall of 2024 we replaced our elevator starter, which cost an additional $15,000. 

The next steps are to upgrade the elevator car door equipment and hoistway components on both the front and rear side of the elevator. This is a major upgrade, but will bring us one step closer to a full modernization and will help to eliminate elevator shutdowns that leave residents stranded and require costly emergency crews to respond. The current quote for this part of the modernization is $40,000.
