Only IPWSO, the International Prader-Willi Syndrome Organisation, provides comprehensive information and regional conferences on the syndrome throughout the world. They do this on a shoestring budget with the help of volunteer boards of premiere scientists, physicians, caregivers, educators, and family support specialists. Of the 104 associate member countries, only 33 are able to contribute even token dues, yet no request for information or help is ignored.

Friends of IPWSO is committed to helping these families give their children good lives and to promoting the networking of scientists and caregivers to advance management of this challenging syndrome.
