Support Istrive Hmong Camp: Empowering the Next Generation of Hmong Youths

iStrive Hmong Camp is one of the programs at MN Zej Zog, who's mission is to empower the Hmong community by nurturing the Hmong language, healing through the arts and wellness, and becoming more powerful through education across generations. iStrive is dedicated to fostering language learning, cultural pride, leadership, and personal growth among Hmong youth across the Twin Cities. Our camp provides a unique, immersive 10 day experience where participants can connect with their heritage, develop essential life skills, and build lasting friendships at North Hennepin Community College. Through a blend of cultural activities, morning village time, and cultural food experiences, we strive to empower the next generation of Hmong leaders.

Why Your Support Matters: Many Hmong youth face challenges in balancing their cultural identity with modern societal pressures. iStrive Hmong Camp offers a safe and supportive environment where they can explore their roots, gain confidence, and develop a strong sense of community. However, providing this enriching experience requires resources, and we need your help to make it accessible to as many young people as possible.

Our Goal: We aim to raise $50,000 to fund scholarships, compensate staff, providing busing, camp activities, essential supplies for iStrive Hmong Camp, and other camp needs. 

How Your Donation Will Be Used

- Scholarships: Provide full or partial camp scholarships for underprivileged Hmong youth.

- Cultural Activities: Fund traditional arts and crafts, language lessons, and cultural performances.

- Educational Workshops: Support workshops on leadership, teamwork, and personal development.
