Isla Urbana USA has a variety of volunteers who want to fundraise for our cause! Some of them are students who want to raise funds for Summer Program, others are celebrating a special occasion and would prefer that friends and family donate here instead of giving gifts, and others simply want to fund a rainwater harvesting system in Mexico for an urban or rural home or even for a school! If you're supporting them, please chose the individual's name under the "Fundraisers" section and then click donate or you can click donate and chose them from the options that will be shown. 

How to sign up as a fundraiser

It takes only 5 minutes to sign up! Just go to the "Team Member section" and click "Fundraise". You will be asked to sign up with Givebutter, then add a fundraising goal, a bit about yourself and that's it. You can upload a picture and you'll be given a URL designated for your efforts. You can share that URL or share the main page and donors can credit you as they donate. If you have offline donations (checks, cash), reach out to us. We can enter them offline so that your full efforts can be shown.

We are a US nonprofit supporting the great work of our sister organization, Isla Urbana (Lluvia Para Todos), Mexico which focuses on clean water efforts through rainwater harvesting. Isla Urbana has now installed over 25,000 rainwater harvesting systems throughout Mexico but there is still so much more work to do. We see ourselves as a bridge between donors, partners, and volunteers in the U.S. and the vital work in Mexico while also developing leadership programs and opportunities for US students.
