Blaze was our beautiful English Shepard granddog who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of canine Lymphoma at the age of three. His pawrents, David and Meredith, did everything they could for him including chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. His cancer came back and he crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2023 at the age of four. David and Meredith held a fundraiser last year called Blaze's Walk and this year they are having a 5K run and festival to raise money for the Perseus Foundation that supports canine cancer research and helps families pay for life saving treatment. The event will take place at Heavy Seas Beer in Halethorpe, MD on April 13th 2025. Please join us for the 5K run, festival and dog adoption event with A Home of Their Own Animal Rescue.
