If you want to write, then write.
Easier said than done?
In this two-hour workshop you will give yourself the permission to write and the time and space to do it. Aspiring and established writers too often struggle to quiet the voice in our heads telling us you CAN’T. There are all these reasons we don’t have the time or space to write the stories that matter to us.
There are two things aspiring and established writers need and crave: time and space. During this workshop we give ourselves the gift of time. In the nurturing space of the workshop, we begin or continue to write the stories we live every day. Using our histories, our memories, and our senses as launching pads, we will begin to transform the ordinariness of our lives into extraordinary fiction and non-fiction. Through tailored writing prompts, you will be given the guidance to write the stories you are destined to write. You will also be given the 21-day challenge to keep you writing. Her story matters. YOUR STORY MATTERS.
Key to the Castle Workshop’s co-founders Kathy Curto and Patricia Dunn are Italian American authors and writing instructors. They have taught and coached writers, aspiring and established, for over twenty years.
Admission fee: $25 Members | $35 Non Members
Please register by September 10th to guarantee your place (15 participants)
Light refreshments will be served
