This mission is especially close to my heart because I know firsthand how hard it is to fight through serious medical conditions and the toll it takes on a family. In the middle of all the appointments, uncertainty, and exhaustion, joy can feel far away. I just want to bring a little light into those heavy moments—a small reminder that love and celebration still have a place, even in the hard seasons.
Icing Angels connects local bakers with families facing medical challenges, donating custom cakes to children and their siblings during some of life’s toughest times. Each cake is made with love, care, and the hope of brightening someone’s world, even if just for a day. Your generous donation helps offset the cost of ingredients for our volunteer bakers, making it easier to keep spreading joy through cake.
Next Month’s Cake: A Sweet Surprise for a Bastrop Girl
I’m excited to have accepted an order to create a special cake for a little girl local to Bastrop next month—a small gesture to help brighten a big journey. While I didn’t sign up expecting anything in return, I was touched to see that Icing Angels offers an option for bakers to receive a little help when needed.
Any contributions received will go directly toward covering the cost of supplies for this cake. Should anything above that amount come in, it will go right back to the Icing Angels fundraiser to help support more children through future opportunities.
