As a volunteer baker for Icing Smiles I will create a cake for an adorable girl I'll call "O" who is turning 3 on December 19! I had the pleasure of playing with "O" in the hospital recently while she was embarking on her #5 of 6 chemo treatments scheduled for this year, and she is so full of fun. Each treatment calls for 25 consecutive days at UVA Hospital. "O", her parents, and her big sister have shown so much resilience on this journey and when her birthday arrives they will be close to the end of treatments and ready to celebrate.
