In Memory of Clarence Hannon Donate $5 to support Colon Cancer Awareness

Each year, there are approximately 150,000 new cases of colorectal cancer diagnosed in the United States, resulting in 50,000 deaths. Clarence Hannon who lost his battle to Colon Cancer 37 days after his diagnosis is one of many who have passed on due to late screening/detection. It is estimated that increased awareness and early screening could prevent at least 30,000 deaths annually.

The Richmond and Tri-city area has a significant African American population, with a high percentage living below the poverty level. Access to basic health insurance is a challenge for many in these communities.

Recent data has identified certain counties in this area as hotspots for colorectal cancer. Trials of Color goal is to address this issue and work towards reducing the number of colon cancer deaths and significantly provide clinical trial education among the underserved population in the Richmond and Tri-city area.

Your donation would go a long way in saving lives!
