Support the Saginaw Youth Choir

Founded in 2018, the Saginaw Youth Choir (SYC) provides a unique, performance-based opportunity for young singers ages 8–16. More than just a choir, SYC is a place where children from public, private, and home-based schools across Saginaw and the Great Lakes Bay Region come together to meet, connect, and share the joy of music.

Our program not only teaches music literacy but also emphasizes character development, helping students build confidence, teamwork, discipline, and a lifelong love of learning. Under the inspiring leadership of Emerald Joiner Christensen, with the assistance of Claire Ingersoll and Sarah Beltran, SYC nurtures the next generation of musicians in a safe, supportive environment where diversity is celebrated and voices are united through song.

Your donation helps keep this opportunity affordable and accessible for all children in our region. By giving today, you are investing in music education, community connection, and the positive character growth of young people who will carry these lessons with them for life.

Together, we can give every child a voice.
