Campaign cover for neighborhood bridges growth & impact fund

neighborhood bridges growth & impact fund

According to the Brookings Institute, a national think tank, the rise of poverty in Suburban America has been dramatic since the year 2000.  In fact, today there are MORE children living in poverty in suburban America than in our urban centers.

At neighborhood bridges we understand that 3 out of 4 residents in any given community don't have kids in our schools.  So we go out and engage the ENTIRE community in removing barriers to learning.

neighborhood bridges understands this growth and has developed a turn key solution so that our school counselors, social workers, mental health specialists, nurses, and administrators can post needs (always anonymously) on behalf of our most at-risk students...then we push those needs directly to the community.

Since our launch on Martin Luther King Day January 16, 2017 neighborhood bridges has driven direct impact to more than 635,600 students/families and has expanded our service area to include 68 school communities in a 120,000 square mile area.  We have accomplished ALL of this while maintaining administrative overhead percentages consistently in the 4% range.  neighborhood bridges is annually recognized at the Platinum Level of Reporting and Transparency by national charity watchdog, Candid.
