Robotics combines the excitement of sports with the rigors of science, technology, engineering, and math.

While the ultimate goal of robotics is to build and program a robot to compete against other teams, it is so much more than that. It teaches teamwork, problem solving, communication, time management, project planning, and so many other life-long skills. A part of the Robotics program is giving back through Community Service and Outreach. Throughout the past year, the team has held robot building sessions with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, provided demos at the Steele County Free Fair and the Owatonna Public Elementary Schools, participated in a teen night at the Owatonna Middle School, and completed park cleanup at Central Park through the city Adopt-A-Park program.

This program would not be possible without your support. Through your generosity, we will be able to continue to grow the Robotics program at the High School and expand the program to the Middle School and Elementary Schools. Thank You!
