Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. (TLOD) was chartered in the State of Texas on September 8, 1964 as a non-profit, educational, and humanitarian organization.

The Prince George’s County Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc., chartered in Prince George’s County, Maryland on

August 30, 2009, Maryland, proudly carries forward this mission. Our objectives focus on:

Youth Development through our signature program, Top Teens of America
Improving the Status of Women
Service to Senior Citizens
Community Beautification
Strengthening Community Partnerships

We also provide strong support for national organizations and causes, including the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), NAACP, United Negro College Fund (UNCF), the March of Dimes, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as well as focusing on promoting Sickle Cell Disease Awareness and Literacy.

Prince George’s County, Maryland is the second most populous county in the state and the one of the largest, most affluent African-American-majority county in the United States. Yet, there is still much work to be done to serve and uplift both youth and adults in our community.

This year, the Prince George’s County Chapter of TLOD proudly welcomes 33 remarkable women into our ranks. Together, we will continue to be “On the Road to Make a Difference” in Prince George’s County and beyond.
