International Planned Parenthood Federation
The International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a leading global advocate for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). We represent a network of Member Associations (MAs) with a presence in over 150 countries.
We are advocates and service providers. Our work includes promoting comprehensive sex education, responding to humanitarian crises, and providing contraception, safe abortion, and maternal care.
Our MAs are autonomous SRHR organizations that serve in their respective countries. MAs are organized within our regional structure, which includes the following six offices:
- Africa
- Americas & the Caribbean
- Arab World
- East and South East Asia and Oceania
- Europe and Central Asia
- South Asia

IPPF is also comprised of a Central Office, known as the Secretariat, which coordinates the distribution of core funds, direct advocacy for SRHR, and collaboration among MAs.
In 2023, IPPF MAs delivered a total of 222.4 million sexual and reproductive health services, reaching over 71.2 million people worldwide. You can read more about our impact here.
