Dear family and friends,

UCSB Taara is pleased to announce that we are planning to compete in some of the top competitions in the Legends national dance circuit this year!! Our team puts in over 20 hours a week solely dedicated to dancing and improving our skills, even in cold parking lot basements. Unfortunately, we do not get funding from our school and COVID-19 has impacted us in more ways than one. Thus, we are graciously reaching out to our community members, friends, and family to help support us on this journey.

Despite these unfavorable circumstances, our dancers' passion and perseverance has pushed Taara to the major leagues! As a fourth-year team competing alongside 100+ Bollywood dance teams in the nation, we are looking forward to dance at various competitions this season! Traveling to competitions comes with a lot of expenses, so the money we raise will go towards covering our hotel & travel fees, costumes, stage production, and more!

Any amount will go a long way, not only for our dancers but also for the future of taara. We appreciate your generosity greatly and send you lots of love during this time!
