2024 End of Year Match!

Our second annual Holiday Fiesta for friends of Wilson and Jackson Reed Crew was a great success! We have a generous alumni donor who has offered to match donations up to $10,000 through the end of 2024. Please help us reach our goal! This will go toward a new boat for our athletes. Any donation helps toward our goal! If you can give $40, JR crew gets $80. If you can donate $400, JR crew will receive $800.  If you are not in a position to give this year, consider contributing to Jackson-Reed Crew in other ways – most notably, spread the word to former rowers, their parents and post on your social media.

While we are affiliated with DC’s Jackson-Reed High School, we are a club sport that receives no funding from the public school system.  Through dues, donations and determination, the team consistently offers Jackson-Reed students an incredible opportunity to challenge themselves and compete at the highest levels.  In recent years, the team has twice won gold at the prestigious Stotesbury Cup Regatta (Boys Senior 8 and Girls Freshman 8), finished first at the historic Head of the Charles Regatta (Girls Youth 4), and won two scholastic National Championships (Boys Senior 8)!  And the impact of the program extends on even after our students graduate as every year, many of our seniors go on to row for some of the most competitive Division I and Division III university programs.
